The Anavilhanas Archipelago is a stunning group of islands located in northern Brazil, on the Amazon River. This archipelago is situated near the town of  Novo Airão in the state of  Amazonas. Anavilhanas is known as one of the world's largest freshwater archipelagos, comprising approximately 400 islands.
